Ikigai Earth month sees the launch of a brand new website for stylish men and women wanting to “green” their skincare and beauty routines, without sacrificing quality and luxury. Called Ikigai, the online boutique offers a variety of hand-picked ranges of luxurious natural and organic products, to customers in Australia and New Zealand, and internationally on request.  All products are free of parabens, phthalates, sulphates and synthetic colours and fragrances, and are not tested on animals.

According to founder, Kate Hanson,  “We believe that people have a right to know what goes into their skincare products,” Hanson continues. “After all, the skin absorbs up to 90% of anything we put on it, so who wants to slather it with nasty chemicals?  It can be difficult to decipher the ingredients on the back of the bottle - that’s why we provide a comprehensive glossary of ingredients so that customers can look up every single ingredient of every single product we stock, for a simple and honest explanation of what it is.

“We also think it is important to offer more than an online store so at Ikigai you’ll find a wide range of articles offering advice, tips and news about skincare and wellbeing, as well as a downloadable ‘hit list’ of chemicals to avoid in your skincare products.”
