Herbal Essences: A Hairy Thought.

Herbal Essences is being reformulated to reduce ‘toxic ingredients’, according to an a preliminary agreement between P&G and founder of The Green Patriot Group, David Steinman. The contaminant at issue is 1,4-dioxane, produced during the manufacturing process of some products. My question is why it’s even in there in the first place?
