The Times reports on a new anti-wrinkle pill from L’oreal and Nestle based on tomato extracted Lycopene currently on sale in Europe and with a British launch planned. But before you rush out to stock up on the £25 for a ten day supply of tablets, bear in mind that tests showed an 8.7% improvement in skin elasticity. Is it just me, or is that a rubbish result? 87% and I’d be impressed, but spending £75 per month (and it’s at least 3 months before you are expected to see a result)for so little visual result can’t be worth it. Spend your money on a fabulous handbag instead - a smile is the prettiest anti-ageing effect in the world.
