When I first opened the box containing the RAHUA Shampoo and Conditioner, I opened the bottles to smell the scents of each and I’m very happy to say I love the scent of both. The scent is light and clean and I can definitely smell the Palo Santo, especially in the shampoo. Palo Santo, as the company states, ‘is a centuries-old calming ingredient procured from the aged “holy wood” that imparts an amazingly beautiful aroma and is traditionally featured in Shaman ceremonies.’ 

All of Amazon Beauty products are free of chemical preservatives, sulfates, parabens, dyes, petroleum ingredients and are 100% vegan.   Another main ingredient of these two products is the Rahua nut oil - this oil has been used by women of the Qhechua-Shuar tribe to promote healthy, strong hair for many years.

Review:  I have to say I love these two products from the first time I used them. The shampoo left my hair clean without feeling stripped of oils and lathers up very nicely. The conditioner left my hair feeling soft and manageable without leaving any residue and it did not make my hair flat. I feel that using the shampoo and conditioner together worked best. My hair even looked good without any styling products and I was able to get away with not shampooing my hair the next day – it still was clean and had enough volume.   I also liked how the shampoo and conditioner worked on my clients. I used it on my clients with coarse hair, fine hair and those who had dry and oily hair. Each client’s hair felt great and styled nicely with lots of shine.  

Overall:  I was very pleased with how these products performed on both my hair and my clients’ hair. Even though their price is a bit higher than most shampoos and conditioners, they are worth it. I will continue to use these products down to the last drop and I may even check out the other products they carry as well.
