Twisting Tricoleur: CHANEL No5 Essential Bath Oils

A few weeks doesn’t seem a long time to wait for a very luxurious treat. The new Limited Edition Chanel No5 Essential Bath Oils is cleverly ‘tri-phased’ so it looks absolutely amazing. Whether I’ll ever be able to use it and lose the ornamental value is still a moot point, but I can tell you the upper phase contains Ylang Ylang essential oil and sweet almond extract; the middle and lower phases are more watery, allowing the oil laden upper layer to stay at the top. Just can’t help feeling it’s an essential decandence - to fill my bathroom with No5 laden fumes to whisk away the strops of the day (of which there are normally many). £59 from October 23rd.
