I heart the Natural & Organic section at Target

So, I’ve always enjoyed my trips to Target, but lately I find myself in the beauty aisles. Now, some people will tell you to support the indie stores and fight the big corporate machine; well, there’s that and I do try to support indie when I can. However… when I have to go buy more cotton pants for work, the newest Thomas the Train DVD for the boy and Hannah Montana for the girl, it only seems natural to further support the man. Right?

So there I was a few weeks ago and came upon the Olive Leaf Body Wash from Method. Now, their site retails it for $10 bucks, but I’m pretty sure that I paid like $7.50. It was a basic body wash, nothing to write home about but effective, lathered fairly well and rinsed clean. Diggin’ it.

Oftentimes, they sell great products online but they’re not offered in stores. This is where Target shopping can get funky. If I’m online, I could get a better selection and deal buying directly from the company or some indie site, that call is yours.

But for your in-store shopping experience, Target is getting better at offering products that we can all use and benefit from, such as personal care products and eco-friendly lines. Now if only they’d get some organic clothes
