I am not a daily user of makeup but over the last few years, on the rare occasion that I need to wear it, I definitely lean toward mineral. It’s also why makeup reviews take me so long to write. Additionally, because I rarely wear it, I demand a bit more than the average user maybe; I’m not interested in re-applying and I don’t want to be a shiny nose either.

Overall ::

Looking at the color of the foundation, I definitely wouldn’t have chosen it for myself. That the creator of this line did choose it just from looking at my photo, and that the color was a perfect compliment to my skin tone, only added to my enjoyment of the foundation. The foundation spread on flawlessly, with even coverage and lasted more than five hours without leaving me looking like an oil slick had slapped my face. Big plus in my book. Granted, I don’t use makeup often, but it’s my estimate that the full size would last you a good long while. Samples are available for just $2.50 so you don’t need to make a commitment to a color you think might work. Recommended.

The eyeshadow, on the other hand, didn’t rock my boat. The color is quite amazing yet didn’t fulfill its color on my face. It just didn’t last and was pretty lackluster. Not sure if it was me or the color or what, but didn’t like the performance of the eyeshadow. Pass.

Lastly, the lip balm from Eve Organics is surprisingly great! Often times, lip balm is created just as an impulse buy for customers and not a lot of love goes into the making. And oftentimes you can definitely tell it was an afterthought. So I was pretty shocked to find this lip balm was quite moisturizing, offered a nice gloss and lasted quite a while without reapplications. Recommended.
