L’Occitane Ma Creme Nature: DIY Moisturiser

A few weeks ago, I was sent a sample of L’Occitane Ma Creme Nature; basically a DIY moisturising cream kit. The box contains two jars; one a third full with organic olive tree extracts and a sachet of plant oils. The theory that it’s completely fresh (and needs to be kept in the fridge after it’s been made up) and made in your own kitchen makes it somehow better than other creams of organic origin is totally lost on me. Not only is the box enormously complicated with instructions in several languages, but I’m not sure how you could use that much face cream in the alloted stay-fresh 4 weeks. There’s nothing clear on the box to say whether it’s for face or body for that matter. I’m just utterly, utterly failing to see the point of of getting busy in the kitchen when there are plenty (thousands) of creams that someone else had the bother of making on sale. The DIY set is £30, so mixing it yourself doesn’t seem to save any money, although in my book it really should! Just don’t get this at all.
