At Xmas time, a few OBE readers and myself, were lucky enough to get Bobbi Brown’s Makeup Manual. Let me back up. I had actually told my contact that I wasn’t interested in getting the book for myself, but that I know my readers would appreciate the giveaway offer.

So when the book arrived for me, I recall actually being a bit pissed at the wasted shipping. The book sat on my table for about a month. However, for some reason, maybe I felt the urge to clean or something crazy like that, I actually opened the book. Then two hours later, was so happy that I got a copy!

I am a complete idiot when it comes to wearing makeup. Or more tot he point, using makeup to enhance what I have. My basic routine is lipstick, maybe eye liner and possibly mascara. In general, the only time I wear makeup is when I have to do my video review clips or go to networking events. Little did I know that makeup aplication was not the chore I thought it to be. That night I went out with my girlfriends and decided to use some of the tricks in this book.

In under 10 minutes I had sultry bedroom eyes and sexy, slutty lips that my husband loved. He actually noticed that I was wearing makeup because he said I looked so good! This little manual that I didn’t want, now sits in my bedroom and I tell any product girl I know, that this book is the ONLY makeup book she (or he) will ever need.
