Origins Dr. Andrew Weil Night Health Bedtime Spray review
Submitted by The Organic Beauty Expert
Origins has introduced Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins Night Health Bedtime Face and Body Treatments. Although there are four products in this line, I only received the Bedtime Spray to sample which makes it difficult to give a complete endorsement to this line and its claims.
Product reviewed:
Origins Night Health Bedtime Spray, 3.4 oz, $25
Number of times used: more than 10
Overall: Nicely scented, but save your singles for some other serious slumber-aid.
Review:
The Origins website indicates that ‘this meditative mood spray relaxes mind, body and spirit to help ensure a restful night.’ I used this spray 12 times and I think it has a wonderful scent of chamomile, lavender and mandarin. Instructions on the bottle say to mist your body, inhale the meditative spray and exhale to let the tensions go and carry you into rejuvenating slumber. As much as I understand the concept behind this product, I don’t think it’s just the spray inducing this meditative and calm state.
For me, it’s the focused breathing which helps me relax and release stress and tension. I don’t consider this product a necessity or a nightmare. Let’s call it a nicety. For some, it might help you slip into soothing sleep. But a good sheet spray, aromatherapy bath or candles plus some restorative breathing could do the same for less than the $25 cost of this product.
